Bat Attack

We did a little cave study before taking our first grade field trip this year to Fantastic Caverns. Here is a peek at some of the activities that we did.

We completed a KWL chart about bats.



Wrote poems about our fantastic field trip to Fantastic Caverns. (Check out Cara's poetry freebie on The First Grade Parade - there is a great planning sheet as well as this paper that we used to publish our poems.)

My students made these cute bat crafts inspired by Chalk Talk. Students listed two interesting facts about bats that they learned during our little study.
